Job Overview:

As a Senior Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in managing our caseload and overseeing a legal team comprised of a senior attorney, junior attorney, and a paralegal. Your responsibilities will encompass various legal tasks, including preparing complex pleadings, corresponding with clients, experts, and opposing attorneys, and representing clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently manage a diverse caseload.
Supervise the legal team, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are appropriately delegated.
Review all materials before submission for filing or service.
Prepare intricate legal pleadings.
Craft clear and professional correspondence with clients and legal professionals.
Meet with clients and experts.
Act as a steadfast advocate for clients during court hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences.

Qualifications:

Possess a minimum of 7 years of family law practice experience.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the California Family Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and Evidence Code.
Showcase extensive courtroom experience, including evidentiary hearings and trials.
Exhibit strong legal writing and research skills.
Have prior leadership and management experience.
Be proficient in using Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Xspouse/Xarrears software.
