About Attorney John Murillo

Mr. Murillo limits his practice to matters falling under the California Family Code, which generally include family law, dissolution of marriage (divorce), and domestic violence.

Education

Mr. Murillo graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science: Comparative Politics. Mr. Murillo then completed his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2019. During his law school education, Mr. Murillo participated in internal Mock Trial competitions and was a Staff Editor of the Criminal Justice Law Review. Mr. Murillo was admitted to practice law in 2019.


Experience

Following his admission to the California State Bar, Mr. Murillo began his practice conducting employer side labor and employment work for California school districts at a statewide firm in Los Angeles. Mr. Murillo then worked at a boutique civil litigation firm in Orange County where he primarily practiced general litigation, business litigation, and probate litigation before joining Moshtael Family Law.
